Course Description

What is this course about?

What to Expect in a Hybrid Course

You’ll have the opportunity to engage with course materials, participate in discussions, complete assignments, and collaborate with fellow learners. Here are some key features:

  1. Scheduled and Flexible Learning: Hybrid delivery means that we will be maintaining the structure of a traditional course by meeting on Mondays and Wednesdays on campus at the designated time/place but shifting to online/asynchronous delivery on Fridays. That means that you may engage with Friday's course materials and assignments at any point in the day, so long as you complete any tasks or assignments by the posted due dates. You do not have to come to class and you do not have to engage with Friday's materials during our designated course time.

  2. Canvas: Our course hub is Canvas—a user-friendly platform where you’ll find everything you need. From lecture materials to quizzes, it’s all organized here.

  3. Engaging Content: Dive into thought-provoking readings, videos, and interactive resources. We’ve designed the content to keep you engaged and motivated.

  4. Discussion Forums: Connect with your peers and your instructor through discussion forums. Share insights, ask questions, and learn from diverse perspectives.

  5. Assignments and Assessments: Throughout the 10 weeks, you’ll complete assignments that reinforce your understanding. Expect quizzes, practice assignments, graded discussion, and creative projects.
