What is Peer Mentoring?

Our Peer Mentoring program is a chance to talk with and learn from someone who knows where you’re coming from. Peer mentors are experienced in what it takes to be a successful online student. They understand the challenges involved in studying online, staying organized, and keeping track of all of the information that is coming at you from so many directions. Peer mentors can help you with tips and tricks, life hacks, or making a schedule for home, work and school. Whether you are looking for help navigating your online classes, or just need to find a little extra motivation, your peer mentor is here to support you!

Who is Your Online Peer Mentor?

Angel Pina is a student just like you, and he is our new Online Peer Mentor! His video introduction is below. He has set hours but is also able to be flexible about zooming with students outside his regular work hours. Students can email him at angel.pina@sfcc.spokane.edu in order to arrange different times.
