Check Your Registration Date
To start, you are going to need to check your ctcLink Student Homepage Links to an external site. to make sure your registration date is assigned correctly. Review our instructions on how to find your registration date if you haven't done so before. If you don't see a registration date on your ctcLink Homepage, contact the folks in the Registration office at the campus you are trying to register through:
ctcLink not showing correct Registration Dates?
SCC call 509-533-8860 or email scc.reg-office@scc.spokane.edu
SFCC call 509-533-3500 or email SFCC.admissions@sfcc.spokane.edu
Check Your Holds
Before you can register, you need to check and see if you have holds. Don't know how? Instructions: Check ctcLink Student Center for Holds & Enrollment, Date

Check Your "Balance Due"
Even if You Think You Have Paid in Full!
Make sure you don't have any unexpected and unpleasant surprises blocking your Registration. Charges will be updated closer to Registration opening for everyone, so check often, even if you do not think you will owe anything!
Take Care of Your Advisement Holds
If you see holds, get them cleared! I can help with some things, but I cannot clear holds for you. Not sure who to go to? Contact an academic advisor from your campus - click here on how to do that.
Advisement Holds are placed on to student accounts for SFCC students who have completed less than 45 credits. The hold will stop you from registering until you meet with an academic advisor and get advised on your classes for next term (it's placed to ensure students enroll in classes that contribute to their degree plans & get the advising they need). The academic advisor is able to remove the Advisement Hold that stops you from registering.
More about advisement holds
ctcLink places a less than 45 credit hold on any student at SFCC who has less than 45 credits at SFCC. If you are waiting on credits to be transferred in talk to your Advisor, or if you have taken classes through SCC, you can contact Admissions to have SCC credits transferred over from SCC to SFCC, and it might help (may be quicker to just go through your Advisor anyway). You only need to remove this hold if you are planning to take a class through SFCC.
Take Care of Your Academic Holds
If you see "Academic Warning" or "Academic Probation" in your list of holds, look to see which campus they are on there for. Do you want to take classes via that campus? If yes, then you need to work on getting those holds off - click here for more information.
