Sample Discussion Board Response

[As Canvas does not currently allow you to grade replies, the workaround we use is to create a "No Submissions" assignment that creates a gradable item in the Canvas Gradebook. In this Discussion Board Response assignment, you can direct students to go back to the discussion board and reply to another student's post by a certain date and with whatever criteria you determine. Since this is an assignment, you can also assign a Due Date which will appear on a student's calendar and in the Gradebook]
