What is "Academic Warning"?
Academic Warning and Continued Academic Warning
Students are placed on Academic Warning when their cumulative grade point average (GPA) has dropped below 2.0. If you are placed on Academic Warning you will receive an email from the college and we recommend that you meet with a Counselor to help you get back on track.
Students are placed on Continued Academic Warning if they were on Academic Warning their last term, continue to have a cumulate GPA below a 2.0, but during their current term they earned a term GPA of 2.0 or higher. You will receive an email from the college if you are placed an Continued Academic Warning and recommend you meet with a Counselor to stay on track in improving your cumulative GPA.
Financial Aid Warning
Students who fail to meet the credit, grade point average or pace of progression Satisfactory Academic Progress requirements will be placed on Financial Aid Warning for one term. Students placed on Financial Aid Warning may receive financial aid for the next term of attendance.
