Midterm Reflection

Purpose

• Your voice matters.
• Successful professionals carefully and honestly evaluate their work every day. Use this activity to reflect on your own work so far this quarter.

Task

The more carefully and thoughtfully you consider your answers to each of these questions, the better you and I will understand what we can do to ensure your success in this class.

Address the questions below:

Question 1: What aspects of the course have been the most successful for you so far? What have you learned that you are most excited about? Which part of your work are you most proud of? What challenges have you encountered? 

Question 2: Have you completed all of the assigned readings? Have you completed all of the course assignments? Have you regularly joined the class sessions? Have you thoughtfully and regularly participated during discussions?

Question 3: What [letter, number, or percentage] grade would you give yourself for the first half of this course?

Question 4: Why would you give yourself that grade? (You'll do something like this again at the end of the quarter. While I prefer to give everyone the grades they give themselves, I reserve the right to change grades as appropriate.)
