 On this page, you will learn about what to put on your PowerPoint slides.

READ & LISTEN

Read:

There are many tools for creating presentations.  You will be using PowerPoint to present your topic.  Your PowerPoint presentation will be your visual aid.  

Your PowerPoint presentation will be an outline of your speech and presentation.  Do not include all your words on your slides.  Only include basic information that supports what you are talking about and engages the audience.

It is also important to use visual images in your presentation.

Your slides should contain: Your slides should not contain:
main ideas a lot of full sentences
bullet points your whole speech
images to enhance  too much text on one slide
