It is important to not use too much water. It is also important to keep water clean. If water is not clean, we call it water pollution. Here are some actions that keep water clean.
- Fix cars so they don’t leak.
- Never put oil or chemicals down a drain.
- Dry paint in the can.
- Take chemicals to a dump.
- Clean up after dogs.
- Don’t litter, especially if you are on a boat.
- Recycle batteries (electronics and cars).
- Take old computers & TVs to an e-waste site.
- Be careful with garden and cleaning chemicals.
- Buy organic or local food and products.
