Professional email addresses usually include a person's name. Many times, they can be your first name and last name or your first initial followed by your last name. They are usually created by a company's Information Technology (IT) department.
Personal emails are different than professional emails. They are created by individuals. Personal emails could be your first name and last name or a nickname, but they can really be anything you want.
Some people have more than one personal email account. One may be for use with friends and family, and the other can be used to look for jobs or communicate with instructors or your child's school. For emails that are used with people who are not friends and family, people try to create addresses that are more professional.
