When people get a job, it is important to be a good employee.  What do good employees do?  Here are some ideas:

Good employees are punctual.  They are not late to work.  If an employee is late or is not going to work, he/she needs to call the supervisor.

It is also important to follow directions.  If employees do not understand directions, they need to ask the manager or supervisor for clarification.  For example, if a supervisor gives instructions that an employee does not understand, the employee can say,  "I'm sorry, I'm not sure I understand. Could you repeat that again?"

It is important to understand all safety rules and regulations.  The employees must keep themselves and others safe.

In addition, good employees do not use computers or telephones for personal use.  They do not use their cell phones when they are working.

Good employees are honest and polite.

They also learn as much as possible about the business.  They are enthusiastic about the business and share their positive ideas with managers and co-workers.

Good employees are positive, kind and supportive to everyone they work with.
