Read:

Job ads can be found in multiple places.  Ways we find a job:

  • On the computer – internet job websites, company websites
  • In the newspaper want-ads
  • On job boards at school or in the community
  • Calling on the telephone
  • Walking into a company looking for work
  • Friends and family

 

Read:

Many job ads include abbreviations.  Abbreviations are short versions of words.  Some job ads are short and only provide a little information.  These ads usually use abbreviations.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Skilled nursing community seeks Certified Nursing Assistant to work with the elderly community, long term residents, or short term rehabilitation residents.  This position will assist residents with getting in and out of bed, dressing, and personal hygiene.  The CNA will monitor fluid and diet and communicate with the nursing team.  Must love the senior community.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have High School Diploma/GED
  • Must have Nursing Assistant Certification
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and be detail oriented
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a team
  • Basic computer knowledge required
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds


HOURS / DAYS / SCHEDULE:

This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, day shift, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

SALARY / WAGE / BENEFITS:
Starting wage is $11.00 to $14.00 per hour depending on experience/qualifications.  Employer has extensive benefits package.
