READ & WATCH

Read:

Review the simple past tense that you studied in other modules.

Remember: We use simple past tense to talk about things that happened and finished in the past at some time before now.

Regular simple past verbs end in ed (looked, stopped), or if the verb finishes with a consonant + y they end in ied (study -- studied, hurry -- hurried).

Irregular simple past verbs are always different.  You need to memorize these verbs.
