Interpersonal Communication Tips
- Pay attention to people’s nonverbal communication.
- Use appropriate nonverbal communication.
- Listen actively.
- Check your understanding.
- Ask for help when you don’t understand.
- Tell people when you need or want something.
- Tell others what you can or cannot do.
- Express your agreement or disagreement.
- Resolve conflicts or solve problems by making a helpful suggestion or making compromises.
