It is important to remember that writing is a process. There are different activities that good writers do.
Pre-writing: Pre-writing is what you do before you start writing. For example, you think of ideas.
Organize: Put your ideas into the order you want.
Write: Write your ideas with complete sentences.
Proofread: Read your writing. Correct any errors you see such as spelling, grammar, or punctuation.
Make changes: Editing is when you correct mistakes. Revising is when you change your ideas or explain them more. It is a good idea to get help with editing and revising.
Rewrite: Write your sentences again with the new changes.
Share: You give a final copy of your writing to other people so they can read it. The copy can be paper or an electronic copy.
