Week Two Begins

This week you will achieve two essential learning outcomes. Once again, the first outcome you can achieve is listed as- following instructions and meeting deadlines. Get into the habit of turning work in on-time before the deadline. 

Demonstrate this skill this week by completing the second module before the assigned due dates. Carefully read each assignments instructions. Ask questions if needed. The discussion for this week is technically challenging. Give yourself extra time for making and fixing mistakes. If needed, please contact the Canvas Help Desk at 1-844-394-9022. 

Secondly, you will being to develop and employ methods for analyzing visual art forms and interpreting their meaning. Throughout the course we will look at many visual/artistic elements when evaluating art. Color is the first visual/artistic element we will look at. Humans are affected physically and emotionally by various wavelengths of the electromagnetic spectrum Links to an external site.. We see these various wavelengths of light as color. 

Consider how you respond to your favorite and least favorite colors. How are they important to artists and works of art?
