The music for this video was inspired by all the different people I talked to and recorded. Along the way, I met the King of Yorubaland's Cultural Minister, students, politicians, journalists, professors and folks simply hanging out at the local bar, sometimes nothing more than a plastic table and some chairs next to the street. This carries somewhat a political message that points to the difficulties the country faces, one of which is having valuable natural resources (oil) that different factions fight to control.
