Instructions
This is the in-class essay exam that is a required part of your Portfolio. Keep in mind that you will submit it here, and I will be printing a hard copy to go in your Portfolios that are due on Wednesday. So, you can still check off the requirement on the checklist/cover sheet, knowing that I will take care of that particular part of the assignment.
You have three hours to complete your essay, and this exam is totally open book. Keep in mind the criteria that your outside reader is looking for when it comes to in-class essays (which is attached to the question) and also know that your reader has reasonable expectations for what you can accomplish in a three-hour exam situation.
Keep your texts handy for this exam, but know that it requires the lockdown browser, so you can't cut and paste work from previous essays.
