Don't Be Late!

Apply or Petition to graduate at least two quarters before you think you will be done with your degree.  It may seem counterintuitive, but it can be super important.

When you submit the application to SFCC, or the petition to SCC, it goes into a queue to be evaluated by the school transcript evaluators.  Upon review, they will send you a letter that will outline exactly which courses you need to complete to obtain the degree (or certificate if you submit for a cert program).

This is actually the only way you can receive an official transcript evaluation from SCC or SFCC. There is a degree progress/evaluation area in your ctcLink Homepage that is not usable quite yet-- but I hear it'll be ready to use soon!  The graduation application is also not operational in your ctcLink Homepage. I have not heard of any plans for that to be fixed any time soon.
