The Early Childhood Education program offers three Associate of Applied Arts-Transfer (AAS-T) degree pathways. Each pathway has a detailed education plan with specific course requirements that must be followed as outlined. Please read the descriptions for more information about the pathways to help you decide if an AAS-T degree is the right fit for you.

What is an Articulation Agreement?

An articulation agreement is an official guarantee that classes completed at one school (SFCC) will be accepted when a student transfers to another school (EWU/WSU)....Articulation agreements are essentially a partnership between two institutions to recognize credits toward a degree.

Associate of Applied Arts-Transfer: EWU BAE P3 Teacher Certification Pathway

The AAS-T/EWU Pathway is designed for students who wish to earn an associate degree in Early Childhood Education and plan to transfer into the BAE P3 Teacher Certification program at Eastern Washington University. The education plan includes the required courses to complete the associate degree and courses that meet the transfer requirements for admission into the EWU program. Students selecting this pathway will still need to apply to the EWU program; admission is not guaranteed.

Must be completed exactly as outlined on the education plan. No course substitutions are allowed. This is a 95-credit pathway.
