Your education plan is the most important document you will have at SFCC. It is your guide to graduation. You use it to enroll every quarter. We spend time supporting you in building your education plan so that you have a plan for the classes you will take every quarter that you spend at SFCC. The expectation is that you will keep this important document safe and available for use throughout your time here. Please review the reminders below to support your success:

File your education plan in your Important Documents for College folder (paper or digital). Some students take photos of a paper copy of their ed plan every time they update it, because they always have their phone, or use a cloud-based program to be able to access across devices.
Review it during enrollment prep in the weeks before your enrollment date each quarter to find out what classes you plan to take and if any changes are needed.
If you need to make changes, please make those early during enrollment prep and email to Leah Ruiz for review.
If you lose this document, visit the ECED Program Guidance Canvas, scroll to the ECED Program Options module, and click on the relevant education plan to create another or check your ctcLink advising notes. Then email your draft to Leah Ruiz with a note that you had to make a new one.
Know that we support your success and your independence by putting you to be in the driver’s seat of your educational journey. We do not keep copies of your education plan handy as that is your responsibility. If asked for a copy of your education plan, we will refer you back to your Important Documents for College folder where we know you have it safely stored.
