Add Your Syllabus to Canvas
A
dding your existing syllabus document is a great and quick way to get your syllabus posted online for your students to find easily. The first video will show you how to simply Copy / Paste information from a Word doc into the syllabus, and the second will show you how to create a link so that your students can download the print copy of your syllabus.
Both are good approaches. In fact, we recommend doing both. Copy / Paste your content into the syllabus tool so that students can search and view the information online and on their mobile devices, and also provide a link to download the printable version for those that want to have a hard copy available to them. Once you have the document created it doesn't take much time to make it available both ways.
