Strategies for Online Retention - Module Overview

Overview:

A lot of people have a false narrative about the success and pass rates of our online students. While across the country, online students generally have a 10-20% lower chance in completion; the same can't be said for the Community Colleges of Spokane. Our online students are thriving at nearly the same rates as our onground and hybrid classes. With that being said, the evidence is fairly clear on what creates a barrier to student success. This module is designed to provide solutions to those barriers and the opportunity to narrow the gap even further.

Module Objectives:

1.  Identify a retention strategy and incorporate it in  your course
2. Identify strategies you'd like to incorporate into your course design and develop a plan for that
