Active Learning - Module Overview

Overview:

Engaging our learners regardless of modality can be a struggle at times. As professionals, we know that learning is not a passive sport. It requires actively engaging with materials, peers, and the instructor. This modules goal is to unpack the messy world of active learning and engagement in online classes and to provide some strategies for developing activities and assessment to engage our learners. After all, learning is not a spectator sport!

Module Objectives:

1. Identify how learner centered activities can be taught in the online environment. 
2. Describe an active learning activity that engages students with content from your course.
