Accessibility Overview

Overview:

We have now all heard about the importance of accessibility for all of our learners. This module's goal is to simplify the massive amounts of information on accessibility to create an entry level training on accessibility, with the focus on highlighting the highest impact remediations that we can add to our workflow when creating Microsoft Word Documents, Canvas Pages, Canvas Announcements, and Canvas Assignments. 

In this module you will develop an understanding of the importance of accessibility for students' and institution's success and build accessible content in your own Canvas courses.

Module Objectives:

1. Identify the importance of accessibility for all learners.
2. Demonstrate the ability to apply accessibility standards in Canvas or Microsoft Word for:

• hyperlinks
• heading structures
• captioning alt tags
• tables
