Task:
After reviewing the 8 QM standards, apply one or a portion of one on a course that you teach. Select a standard from the QM Rubric (2003 - 2005) Download QM Rubric (2003 - 2005), or from the current/past rubrics, review the description and annotation, evaluate your course under the standard's lens, and provide recommendations for your own course. Keep in mind the linked rubric (which is in the public domain) has differences from the current one.
Answer the following questions:
- What standard did you choose to evaluate your course with?
- Where do you think your course meets standard?
- Where does it not meet the standard?
- What steps would you need to take to meet standard?
Purpose:
Become familiar with the QM rubric/standards and observe your own course under its lens.
