Assessment Design

 

There are multiple ways to design assessments to reduce the need or inclination for students to cheat. In fact, an assessment redesign allows us to bring in more authentic assessments. An authentic assessment is one that tasks students to a problem or question of real world importance. Generally these types of assessments are much harder to plagiarize, since the work the student does is project based, self-reflective, or class specific.
